The Love Your Brain Yoga program is a FREE 6-week gentle yoga program that is adapted for individuals who have experienced brain injuries. In Love Your Brain Yoga, you will also experience meditation, mindfulness and community building. Each class runs 1.5 hours long and has a different theme, such as mental and physical balance, strength and resilience, feeling whole, positivity, social support, community and gratitude. While this is a yoga program, it is also a great opportunity to combat isolation, practice mindfulness and breathing exercises, learn some new meditations, and engage in group discussions about the weekly topic. Our goal is to experience the benefits of yoga, but also to develop a sense of community with others who have lived similar experiences.

Anyone with an ABI who can manage on their own, or with a support person

For all classes, participants will need to be able to follow directions, verbally communicate and have the ability to engage and participate in meaningful conversation.
